While the spread of the virus has slowed down across most of the world, we should always still remain cautious as the potential of a second wave could potentially hit next winter. That being said, we have to make sure we take all precautions necessary when opening up packages inside your home.

Make sure to leave items outside your door or in your garage for the period of time indicated above. Include it in your delivery instructions when ordering from places like Amazon or Walmart. Try to open the package while its still on your doorstep or outside the house to prevent the virus from spreading. Use gloves if possible and wipe all the products you ordered with disinfectant spray or wipes, as well remember to wipe down the surface the items or box had touched. Finally, when finished, don’t forget to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds before touching anything else!
